To earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, you need to complete 126 credits:
- 32 credits in core courses, including English Composition I and II; American, British or World Literature; Science (two lab courses); Survey of Mathematics; Statistics; Ethics; Economics; Humanities/History (two courses); and Social Science (one course).
- A minimum of 45 credits in Communication & Journalism courses, including Introduction to Communication; Public Relations I and II; Advertising; Journalism I; Event Planning and Promotion; Design and Production for Marketing; Integrated Marketing Communication; Presentation Skills; and Communication Theory.
- 49 credits in Suffolk electives or in transfer credits obtained before enrolling in Suffolk.
You can complete the entire program without leaving Cape Cod. Suffolk works in partnership with Cape Cod Community College to offer you a full range of required courses on the campus of Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable, Massachusetts.
