Suffolk University Cape Cod offer Bachelor of Science degrees in Communication & Journalism. Our professors from Boston and Cape Cod have both extensive academic credentials and real-world experience in journalism, media studies, broadcasting, and conducting advertising, public relations, and integrated marketing campaigns.

Public Relations Concentration

Suffolk University Cape Cod's Public Relations concentration consists of courses in liberal arts, marketing, communication, public relations, and nonprofit promotion. The program helps you qualify for public relations and marketing communication positions in industry, government, or the nonprofit sector.

We help you polish your presentation and writing skills, while instructing your in all aspects of public relations, from designing strategic communication plans to overseeing their implementation. You will learn the ins and outs of print media, radio and television broadcasting, Web development, and trade show/special event planning.

Journalism Concentration

Suffolk University Cape Cod's Journalism degree consists of courses in liberal arts, communication, and journalism. The program helps you qualify for journalism, editorial, writing, or other communication positions in industry, government, or the nonprofit sector.

We help you polish your presentation and writing skills, while instructing you in all aspects of journalism. We will teach you communication theory, prefessional ethics, public speaking, writing, and media strategies. You will learn about print media and have opportunities to work on articles for publication. Optional internships on local and regional newspapers and magazines are available for credit.
